Datasim has been involved in software development, training and outsourcing work in logistics, engineering and industrial applications since 1992. We have developed software applications for a wide range of applications. Some examples are:
  • An integrated tracking/ERP system that tracks order lifecycle in the cement industry. This system integrates existing systems for ERP, CAD (AutoCAD) and CAM (coupling with cement-manufacturing machines). The system enables production planners to monitor project status.

  • CADObject, an object-oriented graphics toolkit in C++ and C# to enable software developers become more productive when creating applications in popular packages such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

  • Print it!. A design and printing application that allows users to design their own forms, business cards, posters, birthday cards and so on. The application is suitable for both personal and business use. This software product was written for the publisher: A.W. Bruna Multimedia

  • Simulation and origination of holograms and optical devices in the printing industry. New models can be simulated on-screen without having to set up physical equipment. This results in major improvements in turn-around time.

  • Creation of a manufacturing and tracking software system to create printing labels. This entails using CADObject as the machine to create visual representations of printing labels. These labels are positioned and placed on shims and then used as input to manufacturing machines.

  • A software prototype (in the process control industry) to monitor and control critical parameters in a bioreactor application. In this case we used the Datasim Process Control domain architecture as a reference model. Due to this level of reusability we were able to get the prototype application up and running within three weeks.
